I’m glad you’re here.

I’m Noemi. I’m a thritysomething and I’m fine with that (on most days).

Originally I’m from Budapest, Hungary, but in the last four years I lived in Brussels, in Cambridge UK, in Washington DC, and now back to Cambridge again. I have degrees in Communication, in Social Sciences, and in Political Science.

When I was a child, I was convinced that I would be a scriptwriter for Disney. I wrote little pieces that were published in the newspaper of my grammar school. When I grew up I ended up writing speeches for Hungarian politicians, then became a political campaign manager. Years later I escaped from the battles of politics and after floating abroad for a while, the English language in Cambridge blew the dust off the box of my writing dreams. I enrolled in creative writing courses, did writing challenges, launched this webpage, and I can’t stop writing ever since.

After the battlefield of politics, I found my peace in writing.

Now I can finally say that, after the battlefield of politics, I found my peace in writing.

I hope I can share this peace with you.

If you would like to read an adventurous mixture of short stories, travel stories, and even (brace yourselves) political pieces, head over to my blog.
